Undergraduate Researcher

I’m junior studying Molecular and Cellular Biology and English, as a minor, on the pre-dental track. I joined Dr. Ryberg’s lab to study how sunlight and reactive oxygen species can be used to disinfect water, which is especially useful for communities lacking water treatment infrastructure. Overall, I’m interested in microbial structures, and how they can be studied and harnessed to advance human health. Outside the lab, I stay active on campus through organizations, read, work on arts and crafts, and spend time with friends.
