Dakota Foytlin

Undergraduate Researcher

Dakota Foytlin is currently a senior here at UConn, studying Mechanical Engineering (concentration: Aerospace; minor: industrial design) and German. They are assisting the biology- and chemistry-focused projects in the lab by building, designing, and testing equipment. One of his projects from last year that they are continuing is designing and fabricating a photon generator for microbial testing.

Outside of the lab research, he enjoys drawing, hiking, writing, collecting, gardening, and listening to music. He adores his cats that live back home in New Jersey and loves to play D&D with their friends.
