Jawad Chazbek

Undergraduate Researcher

Jawad Chazbek is an undergraduate at the University of Connecticut studying Physiology and Neurobiology on a pre-med track. He joined the Ryberg Lab to investigate the rates and mechanisms of surrogate organism disinfection, with an interest in expanding his wet-lab skills.
Outside the lab, Jawad’s hobbies include snowboarding, surfing, reading, soccer, and fashion. He is involved in several on-campus organizations, including KDSAP, the PNB Society, and EMS UConn
